There are a large array of code editors available and a search for which one is best can quickly lead you to individual opinions on why their choice is the right one. Short answer, there is no code editor that is right for everyone. Long answer, I belive that you need to try as many as possible to find the one that works for you. They all do the basics, so it comes down to what extras you like. For me, my preference is Notepad++ but you will find many people that don’t like it and would argue their case for their choice. My preference comes from trying lots of difference code editors and suggest that you do the same. I have reviewed several for you and encourage you to try them out.
